Data Luas Tanam - Produktivitas - Jumlah Produksi Jagung Setiap Provinsi di Indonesia

Berikut ini kami sampaikan data Luas Tanam Jagung produktivitas dan hasil produksi jagung dari seluruh provinsi di Indonesia.

Dari BPS Indonesia belum  bisa diperoleh data tahun 2013 - 2013, data ter update adalah data tahun 2011. Namun demikian halnya, data Luas tanam dan produktivitas jagung nasional Indonesia ini semoga bisa menjadi referensi berguna dalam menyikap harga dan perkembangan agrobisnis pada komoditi jagung.

Perlu dicermati bahwasanya data yang dihimpun oleh BPS kadang tidak sesuai dengan kondisi sesungguhnya di lapangan. Karena itu bilamana diantara pembaca ada yang mengetahui adanya selisih atau fakta lain dari diketahui, kami persilahkan memberikan saran koreksi untuk perbaikan data dimasa mendatang.

Nebraska Corn Kernels: Intern Projects: Price Of Corn And The Poultry Industry

I really cannot believe that I’m done with my first month interning at the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA). It really has flown by! I have been busy with so many projects that are all so different and met so many great people. 

One of the main projects I have been working on is researching data and creating graphs to prove that rising prices of corn are not negatively affecting the poultry industry. While my minor in Agricultural Economics is definitely helping this process, math and numbers are not always my friends, especially with some of these really confusing databases. Thankfully I have been able to get lots of help from Paul Bertels, our in-house ag econ expert, more formally known as the VP of Production and Utilization. 

I have also been trying to revamp NCGA’s social media starting with their Facebook page. One of my goals within this is to make our page a place for farmers across the country to be able to interact with each other. I have been making posts with open ended questions trying to really engage our growers. At the same time I am trying to get more college students to become part of discussions on the page so I will be reaching out to many UNL students to start. Also, speaking of our Facebook page, everyone should go like it! 

I had never been to Missouri before this summer and I’m pretty sure it’s one of the most beautiful places (after Nebraska, of course). Thankfully I am staying with a wonderful family here who has taken me to family BBQs and the zoo, which is free by the way if you’re ever in St. Louis. Plus I live next door to a woman I work with who has a great pool that’s perfect for lazy Sundays. I’m convinced I am the luckiest girl in the world to have this amazing internship and be living in this great area.

Wheat Rises on Dryness in Southern U.S., Rain in North

Wheat rose for the first time in three sessions as hot, dry weather in the southern U.S. Great Plains threatens the winter crop and rain in northern states delays planting of spring varieties. Corn jumped. Soy fell.

Parts of Kansas, Colorado and Texas that are already dry will get little rain this week, DTN in Omaha, Nebraska, said in a report. Spring wheat was 79 percent planted as of May 26, below the five-year average of 86 percent, government data show. Four inches (10 centimeters) of rain are expected in areas of Minnesota and North Dakota in the next five days, Commodity Weather Group LLC in Bethesda, Maryland, said.

“It’s not surprising to see wheat rally” because of the weather, Jason Britt, the president of Central States Commodities Inc., a brokerage in Kansas City, Missouri, said in a telephone interview.

Wheat futures for July delivery rose 1.3 percent to settle at $7.0275 a bushel at 1:15 p.m. on the Chicago Board of Trade. The price dropped 1.4 percent in the previous two sessions. The grain has declined 9.7 percent this year as the U.S. Department of Agriculture forecast that world production will rise to a record in the 12 months that start June 1.

Corn futures for December delivery added 2.7 percent to $5.6575 a bushel in Chicago on speculation that delayed planting will curb U.S. production that’s expected to surge to a record in the year that starts on Sept. 1. The price has plunged 19 percent in 2013.

“The planting delays are real and have to be watched,” Britt said. “There’s some flooding and the crops don’t look so good.”

Soybean futures for July delivery fell 0.5 percent to $15.0175 a bushel on the CBOT. The oilseed has gained 6.5 percent this year. Today, the USDA reported the cancellation of 147,000 metric tons of export sales to China.

In the U.S., corn is the biggest crop, followed by soybeans, hay and wheat, USDA data show.

Harga Jagung Ditentukan Oleh Kualitas Hasil Pasca Panen | SNI Jagung

Berapa harga jagung yang layak untuk hasil panen petani jagung Indonesia ?

Kita semua sebenarnya berharap agar jagung hasil produksi petanis di Indonesia mendapatkan harga bagus dan menguntungkan.

Sayangnya tidak banyak petani yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk melakukan pengolahan pasca panen terhadap jagung hasil panen mereka. Hal ini berdampak pada harga jual yang rendah, karena jagung hasil panen yang masih basah ( Kadar air lebih dari 17% ) tidak memenuhi standar perdagangan jagung di Indonesia.

Perlunya Penanganan Pasca Panen

Umumnya produk hasil pertanian bersifat bulky (segar dan mudah rusak). Kerusakan hasil pertanian dapat disebabkan oleh dua faktor yaitu faktor dalam (internal) dan faktor luar (eksternal). Kerusakan tersebut mengakibatkan penurunan mutu maupun susut berat karena rusak, memar, cacat dan lain-lain. 

Kelemahan lain dari hasil pertanian ini adalah biasanya bersifat musiman, sehingga tidak dapat tersedia sepanjang tahun.

Penanganan pasca panen merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. 

Sebagai contoh banyak produk jagung di tingkat petani yang tidak terserap oleh industri yang disebabkan oleh beberapa hal seperti : kadar air tinggi, rusaknya butiran jagung, warna butir tidak seragam, adanya butiran yang pecah serta kotoran lain yang menyebabkan rendahnya kualitas jagung yang dihasilkan. 

Jeleknya kualitas jagung ini menjadi alasan utama bagi industri pakan dalam melakukan import jagung dari negara lain. Import jagung akan menjadi blunder yang merugikan bagi petani jagung Indonesia< karena harga jagung lokal sudah pasti akan turun dengan melimpahnya impor jagung ke Indonesia.

Penanganan pasca panen secara garis besar dapat meningkatkan daya gunanya sehingga lebih bermanfaat bagi kesejahteraan manusia. Hal ini dapat ditempuh dengan cara bentuk asli maupun olahan sehingga dapat tersedia sepanjang waktu sampai ke tangan konsumen dalam kondisi yang baik.

SNI JAGUNG

Persyaratan mutu jagung untuk perdagangan menurut Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) dikelompokkan menjadi dua bagian yaitu persyaratan kualitatif dan persyaratan kuantitatif.

Persyaratan kualitatif Komoditi Jagung meliputi :

1. Produk harus terbebas dari hama dan penyakit.

2. Produk terbebas dari bau busuk maupun zat kimia lainnya (berupa asam).

3. Produk harus terbebas dari bahan dan sisa-sisa pupuk maupun pestisida.
